Bontempi Vibo

2013
A new chapter in the history of Bontempi VIBO S.p.A. begins. With the moving of the Berzo Inferiore plant to the Rodengo Saiano site, the entire production process reaches its peak in terms of quality and efficiency. All production phases, from raw material processing to product distribution, now take place in a single location.

2015
Bontempi VIBO S.p.A. participates in the establishment of FRAM S.r.l., a company specialised in the hot-forged production of special parts and screws, up to size M64 x 1000, and in the certified production of structural bolts with controlled tightening.

2019
The acquisition and merger of FRAM S.r.l. into Bontempi VIBO S.p.A. is completed. The group thus boasts one of the widest product ranges in Europe.

2003
The leadership of the company, still owned by the Bontempi family, passes to Raoul Bontempi.

2009
A new logistics and sales centre is inaugurated in Rodengo Saiano, equipped with an ultra-modern automatic warehouse, a high-tech heat treatment plant and two new forging machines for large screws, up to M36 x 300.

1960s – 1990s

Anni 60 - 90

’60
The company specialises in hot forging screws, bolts and tie rods, supplying specialised Italian and European distributors with its products.

’70
Bontempi VIBO begins to differentiate its production with cold forging. Thanks to sales offices opened in France, England and Holland it expanded its foreign clientele with specialised distributors and large end users. In 1974 the Brescia warehouse was transferred to the Via Cacciamali site.

’80
The VIBO Sud plant was built in Calabritto (Avellino). In 1988 it started the production of bolting items complementary to those produced in Berzo Inferiore. The production of cold-forged bolts, up to M27 x 220, marked the end of the hot-forging department.

’90
Max Bontempi, after a period dedicated to the sales department, takes over the general management of the company. He developed a solid management organisation and led the company to obtain its first quality system certification.
