VIBO expands the use of sustainable energy with the installation of a photovoltaic system at Mi.Me.Af.
In September 2024, Bontempi VIBO completed the installation of an impressive photovoltaic system at Mi.Me.Af. S.p.a., the company acquired in 2021.
This project, in line with VIBO’s commitment to ESG policies, represents a further step forward in the sustainability path undertaken not only by Bontempi VIBO but also by its subsidiary Mi.Me.Af. The latter has begun a restructuring process aimed at aligning with the parent company’s strategies, including a focus on social responsibility.
The system, equipped with 418 modules and 2 inverters with a total power output of 173.47 kW, avoids the emission of 86,632.03 kg of CO2 per year, producing approximately 182,768 kWh.
Thanks to this renewable energy source, Mi.Me.Af. will also be less exposed to energy market price fluctuations and will be able to manage its operating costs more effectively.
The installation of this photovoltaic system, together with the one installed in VIBO in March 2024 and the introduction of further sustainable measures, will merge in the preparation of the company’s first sustainability report, scheduled for the end of 2024.
